Hugh Moore Park Pavilion (100 people)

A large covered pavilion seating approximately 100 people. Pavilion Rental Fee is for $100 City of Easton residents, $150 for non residents. All reservations will require an additional $100 security deposit that will be refunded to the card used for purchase 3-5 business days after a satisfactory post-rental inspection. This pavilion supplies water and electric. It is close to the public restrooms. The pavilion is close to the Canal Boat playground and Museum. The pavilion is ADA compliant. Located at the end of the main road adjacent to the large lot, more than adequate parking is available.

Please note that if any damages are discovered which are related to your rental, your security deposit will not be reimbursed. Listed below is a summary of pavilion rental conditions for your review – PLEASE REVIEW THESE POLICIES CAREFULLY:
• No pavilion rental will be accepted less than two weeks prior to the rental date. All costs must be paid in full (2) two weeks prior to the rental date or the reservation will be cancelled.
• There are no refunds for cancellations.
• Rentals are subject to availability and are reserved on a first come, first served basis.
• Pavilion rentals are rain or shine. There are no rain dates.
• All city parks, including pavilions close at dusk as per Article 941.03(a)(1) of the codified ordinances of the City of Easton
• Swimming pools facilities are not included in the cost of any pavilion rental.
• There are to be no sales or vending of any kind on city property without prior written approval from the City
• Any amplification or public address must be submitted for prior approval from the City and comply with the City of Easton noise ordinances as per Article 376 of the codified ordinances of the City of Easton
• Charging any type of entrance or participation fee for patrons to use your pavilion rental is prohibited and will result in the immediate forfeiture of your rental and deposit.
• The pavilions have a maximum of 15 amps available power. Any cost associated with electrical issues such as blown breakers and fuses will be charged to you and/or your organization.
• There will be no installations of equipment or alterations to existing facilities or equipment by the user without prior written approval.
• Gambling, drugs, or other activities detrimental to the public interest will not be permitted on the premises and will result in immediate ejection from the property as well as forfeiture of deposit in addition to other associated costs. No alcohol will be permitted without prior written approval from the City and completion of a $50 alcohol permit.
• Security – If, in the opinion of the City, a large attendance is possible or other conditions may exist or be likely to arise, that call for special security measures, the use of the facility shall be conditioned upon proper security measures being arranged in advance. The City shall determine the scope of the security measures needed and the cost of same shall be the responsibility of the user and guaranteed in advance. The City reserves the right to modify or increase the security measures required at any time.
• The City reserves the right to make any rule or regulation which it deems necessary in order to promote and protect the health, safety and welfare of the City and its facilities.
Decorations:
1. All decorations / banners used must meet any appropriate city specifications and are subject to review by the City. Under no circumstances will open flame decorations be permitted.
2. All decorations, banners, furnishings, and equipment are to be installed either by the City or under their supervision. All debris must be removed at the conclusion of the scheduled use of any City facilities or equipment. Bounce structures are not allowed.
If fee includes Alcohol you agree In consideration for the issuance of this Alcohol permit by the City of Easton for the utilization of alcoholic beverages in conjunction with your picnic pavilion permit, permittee agrees to the following conditions, rules, and regulations. Failure to comply with these conditions, rules, and regulations will result in forfeiture of your security deposit and/or legal prosecution.
In consideration of the permit by the City of Easton, the undersigned agrees to be bound by the conditions, rules, and regulations as set forth hereinafter:
1. Bulk containers and cans only, this means kegs of beer or coolers with punch or drink mixtures. Absolutely no individual bottles of alcoholic beverages are permitted.
2. Use of alcoholic beverages is restricted to immediate area of the picnic pavilion. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited in all other areas of the park. Persons violating this rule will be subject to prosecution.
3. No person(s) under twenty-one (21) years of age is allowed to possess and/or consume alcoholic beverages.
4. It is the right of the pool management to deny admission to the pool due to the observed effects of alcohol consumption.
5. The undersigned hereby agrees to indemnify and hold the City of Easton harmless for any violation, claim, or claims, actions, lawsuit instituted against the City of Easton which may relate to the use and/or consumption of alcoholic beverages as authorized by this permit or any claim, right, causes or actions, or lawsuit filed pursuant to the Dram Shop Act 947 p.s. 4-493, 4-497 including the costs for defense by the City of Easton and/or representatives of the City of Easton in defending any such action including appeals.
